Does it matter once we eat or what we eat? Unfortunately, for people who love food, the answer is yes! Food that's consumed at night just isn't processed as efficiently as it is in the daytime. What are the results in our life after dinner? We wind down; we prepare to end our day. It is exactly what we should be doing the past hour or two of our day... preparing for sleep. Is there a purpose of sleep? Sleep occurs when we recharge when our bodies repair. Our bodies need all their resources for this. Whether it has to work on digesting food, because that could be a priority for your body if there is food contained in the digestive system, then almost no repair happens.



It isn't uncommon to possess disrupted sleep whenever we go to sleep after consuming a sizable or hard to digest meal too near bedtime. It is because our bodies is spending so much time to digest what was eaten recently. Meat takes over any other foods to digest. For good health avoiding eating meat late into the evening, as it will stay in this tract over grains, fruits, or vegetables. As using the body's energy to digest food during the night we're not giving our bodies that precious cleaning which it has to help fight off disease, along with help repair and rejuvenate us.



Eating a large meal before going to bed has been related to obesity, hypertension, high cholesterol levels and than healthy blood sugar levels. What happens is your body, which are hard wired for survival, think that gosh, "With all of this food in my stomach, I'm probably not acquiring food for a long time and so i better stock up". Your body thinks it must store as much of the calories from that enormous meal by means of fat later.



My recommendations... try to eat dinner by 6pm or at best 3 hours before going to bed and avoiding eating large quantities of harder to digest foods like meat and heavily processed foods at night. Liberally use seasoning such as cayenne, garlic, cinnamon, pepper, mustard seeds, and ginger as they speed up metabolism. Swap grain, fruits, and vegetables for white sugar, processes foods, and white flour products. Ayurveda medicine suggests that people is going for any brisk walk after dinner, simply 5 to 10 minutes. An advanced evening "snacker" brush your teeth prior to when prior to bed. A lot of people hate the flavour of food right after brushing. Plus, you might want to maintain your teeth clean till bedtime thus opting out from the snack!
